General Disclaimer: Neil McCoy-Ward provides a mentoring service to clients that is designed to help clarify their thinking, not direct it.
Neil is not a qualified financial, tax or legal advisor, and any answers you receive from Neil shall not be construed as financial, legal or tax ‘advice’.
The guidance Neil provides is based on his own extensive business, financial and life experience. All actions and decisions clients take as a result of attending a mentor session with Neil are theirs alone.
All consequences that befall clients as a result of the decisions or actions they take are borne solely by themselves.
Neither Neil McCoy-Ward, his staff, companies or any other affiliated entities assume any liability whatsoever for the decisions or actions taken by mentoring clients.
Terms & Conditions:
1. Neil McCoy-Ward only accepts clients for the provision of mentoring services who:
a) are aged 23 years or over
b) can afford to pay the mentoring fee without experiencing financial hardship as a result
c) have paid for their mentoring session in full prior to the session

2. If, after accepting a client for the provision of mentoring services it becomes evident that they do not meet the criteria mentioned in article 1, Neil McCoy-Ward reserves the right to withhold or cancel mentoring services without notice.
3. Neil provides insights to clients on a range of topics, most of which are detailed on the Online Mentoring Application Form that all clients complete prior to receiving these Terms & Conditions. Whilst this list is comprehensive, it is not exhaustive, and Neil may be able to provide insights on other topics not listed. However, the following topics are completely excluded from Neil’s mentoring sessions and will never be discussed with a client:
a) Domestic or any other form of abuse
b) Mental or physical wellness
c) Any illegal activities (including tax evasion)
d) Financial hardship or poverty
e) Any other topic that could reasonably be deemed inflammatory
f) Trading
4. If at any time during a mentoring session a client repeatedly attempts to discuss topics that are on the excluded list mentioned in article 3, Neil McCoy-Ward reserves the right to immediately cancel or curtail the mentor session and withdraw all mentoring services to that client.
5. If a client can no longer attend a mentor session, they are permitted to rearrange their session free of charge if they provide at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the original appointment date/time. The client can do this by sending their request via email to: pr@neilmccoyward.com Any client wishing to rearrange their mentor session with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged an administrative cost of 20% of their original session fee. This is because it is too short notice to allow another client to take the cancelled time slot.
6. No refunds will be made to any client who wishes to cancel their mentor session.
7. Neil McCoy-Ward reserves the right to curtail, cancel or refuse the provision of his mentoring services to anyone, without notice but with a full refund.
Guidelines for your mentoring session:
The following guidelines are provided to help you get the most out of your mentoring session with Neil McCoy-Ward. It is vital that you take all necessary steps to ensure that you are fully prepared for your session and that you have created an appropriate environment to productively participate in your session.
Documentation / Facts:
Please ensure that you have collated all relevant documentation and/or facts that you wish to discuss with Neil prior to your session. This includes as much detail as possible that may be required in order for Neil to assist you as best he can. The more information you provide, the better your expected results.
Technical equipment:
Your mentor session will be conducted via Zoom video call. In order to achieve the best experience possible please ensure that:
• You are using a digital device that is capable of establishing a strong internet connection
• You test your equipment prior to your session and ensure that your video / audio / headphones / mic are all fully operational
• You will be using a stable and fast internet connection that is capable of hosting a video conference call
• Where at all possible, please request that others in your household minimise their use of the Wi-Fi during your session. This is the main challenge for clients on calls with Neil where the connection may lag or drop due to high activity on the client’s network. Neil always uses a high-speed internet connection and also has a backup connection.
• Neil recommends that you use a laptop or large screen for your session (where possible). This is because Neil often shares his screen with you, as well as provides links to appropriate reference material. This can sometimes be challenging when you are using a phone screen (a large tablet screen is also suitable where a laptop is not available).
Environment:
Please ensure that you will be in an environment where you will not be disturbed by any external distractions. You should consider:
• Turning off your phone (or placing on silent)
• Silencing any notifications on the device you will be using for the video call
• Using a room where you can close the door, have complete privacy and be undisturbed
• Ensure that there is no one else in the room with you (unless you have a partner attending the session and this has been agreed prior to the session)
• If you have any members of your household that require supervision, please ensure this has been arranged for them whilst you are attending your session
