Follow the Money: The Shocking Truth About Where Your Taxes Go

Welcome to today’s post, and let me tell you—what I’ve uncovered over the past few days is beyond shocking. If you thought the government was being responsible with your hard-earned tax dollars, think again. The waste, the corruption, the outright theft—it’s worse than I could have imagined. And today, I’m going to show you the receipts.

The System Is Rigged Against You

Think about this: You wake up every morning, go to work, pay your taxes—because if you don’t, you’ll face fines, legal trouble, or worse. Meanwhile, what happens to that money? You assume it’s going toward infrastructure, healthcare, education, maybe even social support programs. But instead, billions are being squandered—misallocated through corruption, political kickbacks, and funding programs that have little to no benefit for U.S. citizens.

I recently took a deep dive into USAspending.gov, a public database of government expenditures, and what I found will blow your mind.

The Media is on the Payroll

Let’s start with the media. Ever wonder why the mainstream press always seems to push the same narrative? Why some stories get buried while others dominate headlines for weeks? The answer is simple: the media is being paid off.

Here are the numbers:

  • Politico - $34.3 million

  • New York Times - $3.1 million

  • CBS News - $8.1 million

  • FDA payment to Politico - $517,000 (why does the FDA need Politico?)

  • World Economic Forum (WEF) - $52.2 million

That’s right—your tax dollars are funding major news outlets, the same ones that shape public opinion, suppress key stories, and push government-approved narratives. It’s no wonder independent journalists face so much backlash—the government and corporate media have a vested interest in keeping the truth hidden.

How Are Politicians Becoming Millionaires?

Let’s talk about Washington. The average salary for a U.S. senator or representative is $174,000 per year. Yet somehow, many of them are worth tens, if not hundreds of millions.

How does someone who has spent decades in public office with a modest salary end up owning luxury real estate, multiple investment properties, and a stock portfolio worth tens of millions? The answer is dark money, insider trading, and backdoor deals.

What I found while researching USAspending.gov is that certain NGOs and government contracts are being used to funnel money to politicians, their families, and their donors.

Foreign Aid = A Giant Money Laundering Machine

If you thought all that was bad, let’s look at foreign aid. The U.S. government sends billions overseas every year under the guise of “aid,” but much of it never reaches the people it’s supposedly meant to help.

Take this for example:

  • $159 million allocated for “climate-resilient schools” in Pakistan. The reality? The buildings are barely standing, furnished with cheap plastic chairs, and clearly not worth the money that was supposedly spent.

  • $279 million to Pakistan—some of which has been linked to terrorist funding.

  • $17 billion to Ukraine—now we find out that 80-90% of Ukrainian media was funded by the U.S. government.

Why would the U.S. fund Ukraine’s media? Because if you control the media, you control the narrative. And now that USAID’s funding has stopped, these outlets are collapsing—which tells us they were completely dependent on U.S. taxpayer money.

The Role of Chemonics International

One of the biggest names that kept coming up in my research was Chemonics International—a private company that has received billions in government contracts.

What do they actually do? Good question. They claim to be involved in development work, health programs, and economic aid. But what we’re seeing instead are suspicious money flows, missing financial records, and zero real accountability.

It makes you wonder—how much of this money is actually reaching the people it’s meant for?

Where Do We Go From Here?

Now that all of this information is coming out, the media backlash is insane. The same outlets that received government money are now trying to downplay these findings, spinning the truth, and dismissing the concerns as “conspiracies.”

The problem is, the receipts don’t lie. These payments are public records—anyone can look them up. The media just hopes you won’t.

So here’s what you can do:

1️⃣ Go to USAspending.gov and search for any organization or media outlet you’re curious about. See for yourself where the money is going.

2️⃣ Be mindful of which organizations you donate to. Many of these so-called “charities” and NGOs are just black holes for money laundering.

3️⃣ Stay informed and spread the word. The only way this changes is if enough people wake up and demand accountability.

I’ll continue diving deeper into this and exposing who’s really pulling the strings. If you want to stay ahead of what’s coming, make sure to follow my updates.

And as always, let me know what you think in the comments below.

Take care, and stay sharp.
